This is easily the WORST movie i have EVER seen in my LIFE. I don't even know where to start, this movie drove me insane!

Firstly, everytime Mark Assholeburg was on-screen he made me want to destroy my TV. I have never had a problem with him before, but this movie made me HATE him. His character is by far the most annoying character ever created, all he does is ramble on and on and on about nothing, act like a bratty child that can't control his emotions, complains about everything, and has a ridiculous obsession with smacking his wrist with a rubber band (which is played off as some kind of genious tick when in reality only a sadistic person would do that as it leaves gross lumps on your skin and is very painful). He isn't interesting, he isn't quirky, he is just ANNOYING.

And it's not just Mark's character that sucks, none of the characters in this movie are written properly. Maggie from The Walking Dead basically plays a ZOMBIE in this movie because she fails at making any type of emotional connection to the audience despite the director trying to force the fact that she has a daughter down our throats. Just like Mark's character, she is cartoonishly angry and pessimistic most of the time and i couldn't care less about whether she dies or not. John Cockovich's character is also completely random and doesn't do anything besides bark orders at people on computers, the movie does a piss poor job at explaining his significance, what is his job really? i have no fucking clue. The director's pathetic attempt at giving him any humanity was by quickly pointing out that he likes to wear converses with his suit. WOW. Iko Uwais fights a few people..thats it. The director gave zero fucks about developing his character, Maggie literally described him in the movie as "a loner" and nothing else. REALLY? you're the CIA and you know NOTHING about someone's past or occupation, just that they're a loner.

But hold on let's talk about the actual plot and the story. The pacing is SO FUCKING BAD!! It takes FOREVER for the ACTUAL PLOT to start. Maybe it wouldn't have felt so long if the director used this time to explain Iko's backstory rather than starting the movie off with a pathetic raid sequence on a suburban fucking house and then making us watch Mark Willyburg scream at people for the next 30 minutes while the camera frantically cuts from idle conversation to idle conversation. It is BORING.

The movie is meant to be about a bunch of CIA agents escorting a man through a dangerous city, the scene in the trailer where the man (Iko Uwais) they're escorting actually shows up, doesn't happen until half way through the goddamn movie. WHAT THE FUCK. This isn't a disaster movie like Deepwater Horizon where the disaster is this big epic scene that we're supposed to anticipate because the movie slowly sets it up, no! this is about a dude taking a ride with some fucking cops!! You're not supposed to have this much build-up, you're supposed to start the escort ASAP so that you can develop your characters A LONG THE WAY.

But once the adventure in this movie finally starts...things don't get any better. At this point i am already in a bad mood because of how long i had to wait just to see this Asian man get into a car with Mark Fuckburg. The action is so un-inspired and is filmed terribly with shaky cam and a hundred cuts per minute. The set-pieces are also just so bland and un-interesting. They get stuck on a road soon after leaving the compound, then they go through an apartment complex and then they're at their destination, just like that. The director WASTED so much time at the start of the movie that he had no time left to create a good escort mission. A movie like this had the opportunity to be an intense, fun and adventurous thrill ride but nope. It was over before it even began.
Also the twist at the end was fucking garbage. This made me not want to watch another Mark Wahlcunt movie ever again. EVER.
