Such grace and charm. I don’t think I’m capable of appreciating her talent to the fullest, since I’m not an Opera fan. Just listening to her speak and the way she communicates is enough to realise that madam Callas was one of those rare humans who moved us forward. Steve Jobs included Maria Callas in his “The Crazy Ones” video for a reason. _Maria by Callas_ is a documentary about the personal life of, arguably, the best opera singer of the 20th Century. Frankly, the high quality footage (home movies, performances, news stories--all impeccably restored) is wasted on someone like myself, who has only a passing interest in La Callas. Those who love opera and/or Maria Callas will love this film. For the rest of us, it'#39;s simply an informative documentary.
