A home video release of two live performances by visual kei rock band Malice Mizer combined into a full experience of their third studio album “merveilles”, played at the Nippon Budokan (April 1) and the Yokohama Arena (July 22) in Japan during 1998. The live featured a massive cathedral set piece, elaborate theatrics, multiple costume changes, and skits of the band used as transitions into tracks (notably during a skit vocalist Gackt dons a set of wings and falls to the stage to sing "Le Ciel", then returns to “Heaven" by song’s end). The concert held July 22, 1998 at Yokohama Arena was Gackt’s final performance with Malice Mizer as he would leave the band in January 1999 and one of Kami’s last shows before passing away on June 21, 1999.
