O ponto forte do filme é a construção das correlações existentes na vida dos personagens, sendo que todos estes passam por algum dilema em sua vida e encontram-se e um momento de confronto. A figura do anti-herói está presente em todas estas histórias, sendo que acabamos por criar uma afeição por personagens com falhas graves previamente apresentadas - talvez uma forma de aprofundar os personagens e aproximar suas histórias da realidade. O roteiro é claramente o principal do longa, a direção não merece grandes apontamentos - não há uma trilha sonora chamativa ou grandes estratégias de filmagem ou montagem do filme.

amazing storylines and even more amazing acting. it felt like i was watching real people living their lives and 2 and a half hours went by insanely fast. im def watching other movies by Inarritu

My opinions about the three interconnected stories are as follows. The people in the first two stories are selfish assholes. The homeless hitman from the third story is the most interesting character in this whole thing. He dhows some humanity at least. The whole thing is just frustrating and sad. And it shows to many dead dogs. Who wants to see that? Not me.

Great directorial debut for Alejandro González Iñárritu. I liked the three separate stories and the way they were edited together. Some were stronger than others. I thought the middle one with Valeria was a little boring. Still this was very good and entertaining.

A triptych of the searing psychological consequences of disloyalty to those you love and hold dear. Within these untidy homes lie equally messy relationships and personal dilemmas thrust to criminal depths of unfaithfulness, objectification, and mortal sin, all juxtaposed by the constant presence of Earth'#39;s most loyal creatures. There exists a lack of graceful unity between his innerly similar stories, but Iñárritu compensates with the meticulous construction of a disorderly state through a frenetic lens and thematically parallel scenography.

Wow, that was amazing entertainment. I found this movie in a list with films like Pulp Fiction or Crash. Because of that my expectations were high and I was not disapointed.
