Apart from a little cliche aristocratic villian causing a scandal in the beginning of the movie,the film is great and very reminiscent of how advanture and old school animated movies used to feel like, and considering this movie as well as April and the Extraordinary World I cant wait to see what France will make next.
While the ending is rather abrupt, it's still a cool story. The initial setup might play into a lot of tropes but Sasha's drive and ambition carry the story forward and it gets more interesting the further we get into it. And of course, the animation is beautiful and alongside the soundtrack created this beautiful atmosphere. I was also delighted there is no romance in this one!
