The length and pace really do help in building up a connection with Knox that by the end, I was on the verge of tears. It's definitely a mind-bending plot with some unforgettable acting. The editing was almost cut as sections, I really didn't like it at first, but it put me in the shoes of Knox just that little bit more. I won't lie, I got bored a few times because i thought it was going to be more of an action flick, but halfway through, I was invested, and by the end, I was satisfied. It's far from perfect, but for the thought-provoking and quiet movie it is, I'd probably recommend it.

Another stellar performance by Keaton.

Knox Goes Away (2024) - ❤x8 This was a really interesting case study. This was more of a movie about watching a man descend into the depths of dementia - who just happens to be a hitman. Definitely worth watching. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!

this movie was much better than i expected. i watched it right after sleeping dogs (with Russell Crowe which was ok) and i expected it for some reason to be similar to that one but i was wrong and pleasantly surprised. it was very well acted for the most part and had a good story, it felt like reading a book that has a little bit of everything from drama to friendship to violence, it felt very human,
it felt like a holliwood Mr Inbetween.
Unexpectedly great movie. I thought it's gonna be another action movie about old killer, but it's not that at all. And the ending is great and well thought, liked it. Was surprised to see that Michael Keaton is the director too. He's old, but he looks great for a 72 years old man.

Michael Keaton goes Memento, but it's more raw and emotionally charged throughout. It's not perfect, definitely not action-packed, but it's a beautifully crafted story with the potential to be much more, and not to forget the great performance by Keaton. What a wonderful surprise, easy to recommend!

Keaton was stellar in this performance. The movie wasn't what I expected. Don't go into it thinking you're going to get a Liam Neeson action flick, although there was certainly action. You connect with the complexity of the character and I was sad to see the story end.

Good movie. A little sad

been a very good movie and wow Keaton super great

I loved this, certainly entertaining with great actors.

This is one of those movies that sneaks up on you. I mean, Michael Keaton as a hitman with dementia? Sounds crazy, but it works. He's got this presence on screen that's hard to ignore. You can see the desperation in his eyes, the calculation, the pain. It's like he's fighting against his own mind, and it's heartbreaking. The story's pretty intense, with some good twists and turns. I liked how it explored the complexities of John Knox's situation. It’s not just about the hits, it's about his family and his own mortality. There's this underlying theme of redemption that adds depth to the whole thing. Some parts felt a bit rough around the edges, like the pacing could've been tighter. And James Marsden's character, Miles... I wanted more of him, to be honest. He's got this quiet strength that contrasts with Keaton's intensity. Keaton's performance is what stays with you. It’s raw, intense, and unforgettable.

The unfolding of the movie is slow, it could have been better, a little more than half starts to get very good, to involve you more, and the ending is surprising, it's worth checking out, 7.5/10

To me, normally this would be a very boring movie, but for some reason it wasn't dull at all. Nothing brilliant here, but it was put together very well, and the twist in the end...the smart plan? well played, John. Michael Keaton is the boss 👌

The acting by Keaton is fantastic and the plot itself has such huge potential but I felt like it could have done a more in depth narrative and really had him suffering whilst trying to balance his job and his family. Good movie and worth your time.

did not expect this to be that good. Stellar performance by Keaton and a great story very good unfold and leaves no questions. Great drama with a lot of thinking and great execution. One more film you will not see in any list, but it is a nice gem.

Really good movie. The plot unwinds slowly, but there's never a dull moment. 8.5/10

A clever story and a nice twist makes this a good watch. With only a few weak scenes the movie works well.
