Three best friends and dedicated roleplayers take to the woods to reenact a dungeons and dragons-like scenario as a live action role-playing game. Well, i like PC role playing games, so i had to watch this one :) AND: thought it will be little in another way (expected better) but ok, i liked it anyway, but cant give more than 7, even when im really big RPG fan :)

For LARPers and metall nerds this flick has a lot of insiders. Any other might not have that much fun with this guilty pleasure movie. I'm not sure if it had to be that gory although it's a comedy about LARPers, but on the other hand, the effects are mostly practical and handmade that gives this movie the natural and organical touch it needs. There are some inconsistencies in the plot, one is even that dumb that the whole premisse of the movie makes no real sense. No hard feelings! The movie doesn't take itself that seriously. The movie mostly entertaining, you feel, that the cast had a lot of fun, the direction is playful, the script has a lot of references to metal bands and music and, of course, LARP and D'n'D. Enjoy.
