I've seen worse Lifetime movies. Not many but for certain. At one point they forget the doctor is a woman and when they say "He gave the all clear" I was worried they'd have a twist and reveal the female doctor was a fake/another patient.

That doll the grandmother gives is demonic looking. Just horrifying. The acting however is fairly good for the genre. Everything felt real except the specifics. Honestly it could have been much worse. EvilGranny can look up the BFF's address online but she leaves her fingerprints all over the door knob? She gets away with way too much violence in general before it comes to a head. That said they didn't really drag it out into a ridiculous fight scene that is choreo'd terribly. And in a police procedural show maybe if two people near you die maybe the police look into you or the people in your life to see if there's a connection. But all of that is handwavable in this genre. It doesn't break my brain that EvilGranny gets away with a murder. The final action scene isn't even THAT bad. It's just kinda servicable.
