Larry Clark’s *Kids* is a wild, gritty ride through the 90s youth scene that makes you nostalgic for the days when “awkward phase” meant bad haircuts, not life-altering choices. Following Telly, a teen whose life goal is to “deflower” as many girls as possible, and Casper, the dopest ghost in town, the film feels like a documentary filmed by that one friend who always got you into trouble while skateboarding through life.

Rosario Dawson’s debut is like finding a twenty-dollar bill in your pocket—unexpected and delightful. Chloë Sevigny’s Jennie brings a raw, haunting fragility that sticks with you longer than any teenage hangover.

Clark’s direction is so brutally honest it feels like looking in a mirror you’d rather avoid, while muttering “Jesus Christ, what happened?” If *Kids* were an Instagram story, it’d end with “Too real to share.”

Final verdict: *Kids* is a 10/10 for anyone daring enough to peek into the chaotic, skateboarding-fueled corners of youth, with a taste of butterscotch sweetness and the echo of “Jesus Christ, what happened?” in the background—eyes wide open and heart slightly cracked.
