ok the people who are saying that this is a typical kidnap movie are so off. it was a tip of the seat and sweatie handpalms movie. absolutely worth it and yes... there were a few moments that u say: oh come on! just do this or do that. but thats just common sence for a viewer. u dont know what you would do in a situation like that...

Typical kidnap movie. There were a bunch of obvious scenarios and dumb moments that made this movie pretty laughable.

One of the worst movies I've seen and that says something because I usually like moves that a lot think are bad. Couldn't even finish watching this movie.

'Kidnap' is about a single, divorced mother named Karla who struggles to take care of herself and her young son Frankie. One day, Karla decides to take Frankie out to an amusement park, where she takes a phone call for a few minutes and returns to notice her child being abducted.

Poorly crafted and pretty predictable, I do wonder how Halle Berry got to making movies like _Kidnap_. It's not awful, but it's obviously low-budget, and there's nothing to it that I can really see as being appealing beyond the paycheque.
