This is an essential movie for anyone who is a Tupac fan, it is a movie which embodies everything that his music described and the acting in this film is so great with a really gripping and realistic story of life in the hood. Unpopular opinion but I enjoyed this film more than Do The Right Thing as this film genuinely holds up in every way as the acting and dialogue is very realistic.

It's difficult to pick out a stand out in this film but Omar Epps (Q) and Tupac (Bishop) play their roles perfectly and especially Tupac playing a character that slowly starts to get corrupted by the end of this film by all of the violence and the life of a hustler in general. Another stand out for me was Jermaine 'Huggy' Hopkins (Steel) as he makes you feel the fear of a person who is involved in something because of their friends and honestly was the character which made me feel emotional.

This film is great, the only reason it isn't a 9/10 is that the ending is awful as it felt like they didn't know how to end it, but its a super solid film with a message which is still relevant and has a killer soundtrack.
