No, this franchise goes to hell. What I expected from this entry is the whole movie litterally taking place in hell and maybe Jason killing the devil, seeing his mother again and him working his way back out of there or something. Well this wasn't it at all and it was boring as hell. Who the hell wrote this script, basically a Jason-less entry with some wannabe loser humans playing house while Jason is out of town. I liked the intro though, nice explosion and Jason looks like a wallnut with hair in this one. Some neat practical effects and kills. The characters are trash in this one. Not enough one-liners or comedy. It's basically the exposition dump entry of the franchise, no idea who wrote this crap generic lore but it doesn't feel like it belongs. Awful third act. Overall, what the hell?!
