Synopsis made it seem like it was all about him, but it's actually all about her. A manipulative girl enter the life of a writer's family, seemingly by chance, but it's very rapidly visible that it's part of her plot.

Nothing original, she's manipulative, and does exactly what you would expect in this kind of story. Gets other employees fired, get close to the child, creates distrust and conflict inside the family, tries to seduce him.

Funny thing: before the movie we were told to really stay until the end of credits as everything is explained there. What a joke. Credits are displayed on top of handwritten letters (letters that are part of the story), they are basically unreadable already, but with blurry and superposition effects, plus the credits on top that's totally useless. And more importantly, if you haven't guessed what it's trying to say at half the movie, you probably slept through it.

The twist being [spoiler]she's her daughter from an affair a long time ago, and his famous book is plagiarized from the letters this woman sent him.[/spoiler]

Despite being very classic, it's very well done, with great acting performance from everyone, specially the psychotic girl, and a dark atmosphere that works really well.

Ending was shocking when [spoiler]she kills herself (well, gives herself lethal injuries) without hesitation, she had already hurt herself a lot through the film, so probably to get him accused, but then quickly kills him too[/spoiler]. A fitting ending for the story.
