_I'#39;m Your Woman_ is a very slow, tedious, and boring movie about virtually nothing. There is not enough tension or suspense to even be considered a thriller. The acting is mediocre at best, with no stand out performances. The first half is just crying baby noises. After an hour (no exaggerating here, literally an hour), the baby was still crying in most scenes while the story hadn'#39;t developed much, so I stopped watching. Maybe it got better, but I may never know. :unamused:

[Amazon] A gangster story from the wife'#39;s point of view. The director tries so hard to deviate from the conventional path that she ends up at a dead end road. The eternal and tiresome waiting ends in the third act, but the dullness with which the only chase scene is directed does not show a greater solidity in the story. Julia Hart again explores the less flashy aspect of the action genre.

This is a disaster. The first half of the movie is just plain boring; the characters aren’t very interesting and nothing happens. It gets better in the second half but damn. What a waste of time.

I’m all in for slow burning dramas but this was hideous. Extremely slow and extremely boring, not in an artistic way that you wait to build the character’s or the story, it was plain flat and did I say slow? I had to skip many times, endless without any true story and meaning.

It had a VERY slow build. You only start seeing action by the end of the movie where all hell breaks loose, but most of the movie is quite slow at building an enjoyable pace. It didnt help that the main actress didn't convey a wide range of emotions for the most part. Teri and Cal that were supposed to be secondary characters were more interesting even with less screen time. I wanted to like it, but it was a bit "eh"

Some movies go straight to DVD they are that poor, this one should have just been left on the cutting room floor and swept up with the rest of he rubbish at the end of the day. Once you block out the noise of a baby constantly crying for the first half hour then it is an excellent cure for insomnia.

My wife picked this one out. I'#39;m glad that I had my laptop with me while I was watching it. Dang, it was boring. As others have said the first 1/2 - 3/4 of the movie is extremely slow. Even at the end when we finally start to a little bit of some action it'#39;s not good enough to make me want to recommend anyone sit down and watch this one. Save yourself some time and choose something else.

I expected a better movie but its not as bad as the other commenters seem to suggest. It rarely grips as it should but the committed playing of the main actress lifts it above average.

So boring. And not because it is slow, slow movies can be great if the writing is good. The movie style is awesome, very 70s, that'#39;s what made me want to watch this movie. A 70s crime drama focused on someone that is not the average crime hero or antihero. But I don'#39;t know if the writing or directing was bad (I'#39;m not an expert in this kind of stuff). But the characters missed something, I didn'#39;t care what happened with them. The only thing great about this movie is the soundtrack.

I was about to write this movie off as a huge loss just a few minutes in... but i stuck around. Glad I did. This is a story of the wife of whom she believes is a thief. She doesn'#39;t ask any questions and only knows what her husband allows her to know. Then one day everything changes. She is now on the run, in hiding, slowly getting a better understanding of just who her husband was all while being dragged further and further into her husband'#39;s life and lifestyle. It was a fascinating watch. And the 70'#39;s setting felt very familiar. How I rate: 1-3 :heart: = seriously! don'#39;t waste your time 4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too 9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!
