H.O.P.E.: What You Eat Matters

So this feels like a natural sequel to 'Forks Over Knives' (FOK) using a couple of those same experts. FOK laid out the logic of going plant-based when faced with the statistics around illnesses and chronic diseases. In HOPE, they cover this in the first half in a quite simple manner - certainly not as effective as in FOK - but it is in the second half of this documentary where it differentiates itself. There is a large section around the treatment of the animals that become food. And it is harrowing... harrowing enough to stop me from eating meat. If FOK never got you by appealing to your intellect, then HOPE will get you by appealing to your compassion. Given where we are at the moment, a multi-pronged approach is required. Keep hitting the message and people will get woke. 8/10
