A study in marketing. The film obviously was originally titled "Par Amour", and was a romantic comedy. The studio, however, decided that, for whatever reason, there are too many romantic comedies in the world so they were going to change the film into a comedy. The obvious problem was the film had already been made. So they changed the title to "Mon Poussin" (a French term of endearment for a child) and made it a comedy about a lad who's sad his girlfriend left him. The problem here is that this is only the story of the first 1/3 of the film, so when this storyline resolves, we feel abandoned in the middle of the movie. But I laughed out loud more than once during the comedy half, so 5/10.
