Cocky researcher Sebastian Caine is working on a project to make living creatures invisible. Determined to achieve the ultimate breakthrough, Caine pushes his team to move to the next phase — using himself as the subject. The test is a success, but when the process can't be reversed and Caine seems doomed to future without flesh, he starts to turn increasingly dangerous.

Brilliant movie, definitely doesn't deserve such a low rating! I went in with low expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the special effects would be awful but they were actually better than a lot of stuff in today's movies/tv!! Those end scenes were so suspenseful! Overall, not a bad flick! If you're a fan of The Invisible Man, you will love!

A take on the classic story of the invisible man. Whereas the cast is good and the special effects are solid, the story is average at best. For fans.

>"You don't make history by following the rules, you make it by seizing the moment." Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Shue, Josh Brolin and Paul Verhoeven working on the same project? Too good to be true! This film shows what happens when you give an the power of invisibility to an egotistic, perverted and arrogant man. This was scarier when I first watched it years ago, but still really entertaining on this rewatch. Kevin Bacon as usual gives it his all. I want to hate his character so bad, but Kevin is just too good.

When we look at classic horror characters (Dracula, The Wolf Man, Frankenstein's Monster), the attempt to give them a contemporary reboot is hit or miss. _The Invisible Man_ (1933) is an absolute disaster, almost the worst from that time. It's crazy that it took so long for a better version to come More

Loved this movie. I never seen a concept for a movie like this. I wouldn't hate being invisible at all. I can also see how it would be frustrating to not be able to become normal again too.

I have been unusually lucky with my SyFy-channel movie watching lately. I had no idea what this movie was really but there was nothing else on last night and I also noticed that it was directed by Paul Verhoeven which have directed quite a few movies that I really liked so I decided to give it a try More
