Very creepy movie. The way everything is set up and filmed, it just feels extremely unsettling. The mystery in itself is introduced right away, and then it just latches on to you and keeps you craving the answer all the way up to the end. But do you get the answer? Well. I'd say not really. But in some ways I'd say it doesn't matter much in this movie because the ride there was pretty intense. Which is what horror is all about at its core anyway. The lack of a crystal clear resolution may be a bit annoying, but at the same time it upholds the mysterious tone set throughout the film and it leaves you wondering a bit. Anyway, pretty cool movie.

Like a hug from a killer clown: gripping and satisfying. This had everything I love about found footage and not many of the things I hate. If you're a found footage slut like me, this one holds up.

May be a good scary movie. But I wouldn't know. Couldn't see shit when something finally started happening. If it wasn't too dark to see, the camera was being operated by a tumbledryer.

Wanted to like this more than I did. There are some elements I enjoyed, of course. Clown man is sufficiently creepy, and the back and forth between the crew feels genuine. With a low budget they did well in some areas, but it does fall short on the whole. *Warning: Relies on strobes in a few spots which took me out of it and will be tough to watch for other photosensitive viewers. This is to be expected during a haunted house movie, so I'm not penalizing that. Okay acting and direction 5.2

I haven't watched a Found Footage film in a long, long time so when I heard about Hell House LLC and found out what it was about, I was interested. It's about those populair Haunted Houses and a group of friends setting one up in a old Hotel with history behind it.

How is this for a horror movie: A haunted house that is actually haunted?

Before watching, I initially had no high expectations for this one, as I thought this would be one of those cheap and crappy horror movies just judging from the poster, but this was better than I was expecting.

I'm a huge fan of the found footage genre of horror movies. The bad part of this is, there are so few movies I would actually consider good in this growing branch of horror movies. This year I stumbled across this one and I am so glad I did! I love everything about this movie.
