Hector is a quirky psychiatrist who has become increasingly tired of his humdrum life. As he tells his girlfriend, Clara, he feels like a fraud: he hasn’t really tasted life, and yet he’s offering advice to patients who are just not getting any happier. So Hector decides to break out of his deluded and routine driven life. Armed with buckets of courage and child-like curiosity, he embarks on a global quest in hopes of uncovering the elusive secret formula for true happiness. And so begins a larger than life adventure with riotously funny results.

I really liked the message in this movie. Don't really agree with the other comments... But I guess if everyone liked yellow what would be of blue ?

the sort of movie that aims to deliver a message and gets few laughs out of you. it's not that different than lots of other uplifting movies, but it sure leaves you with a smile on your face.

> "We should concern ourselves, not so much with the pursuit of happiness, but with the happiness of pursuit." A few movies in this era are about mid life crisis and the pursuit of happiness. Had a couple of laughs, more serious moments than I thought there would be though. If I had to choose, I would watch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty instead.
