Note: I didn't see the original movie, this was a "reedit" version so I don't know how different it was from the original.

This starts like the fairy tale, with the father abandoning his children in the forest, though they're adults. They then try to go to their uncle in Spain (starting from Netherlands).

It's not clear how they manage to get there. By the time they're shown as out of money (they didn't have any to start with) and looking for gas for the motorbike they stole, they're already in Spain. Which is preeeeeetty far from their starting point to have been done without ever filling the tank.

The whole thing is a little wtf, a little funny, but not enough to be a major interest. The two main characters are a little stupid and mostly major assholes ([spoiler]they literally kill people and it's never talked about afterwards[/spoiler]) and that's a major turn-off in the story. You want bad things to happen to them, and they don't (enough).

Marie can't wait 10 minutes for her brother to come back before getting picked up by a guy and just going to his house that looks hours away by car ?? The way Jacob behaves with Diego is insane, while the guy feeds him and lets him live for free in a luxury house with swimming pool and servants... you just want to kick him.

There's the whole plot with Diego and his sister, but at this point you barely pay attention to it because you just want them to die. It's still a little weird, not in a good way, more in a negligent _nobody thought this through_ way. Like the guy is just driving around [spoiler]picking random people up to get his sister a kidney ? And luckily the brother of the woman he picked up is compatible ? Did they even test that ? Also did he have to marry her for that ?[/spoiler]

Ending is also kinda weird as they end up in what looks like an abandoned western movie set.

Not a total disaster because of some funny parts, but pretty meh otherwise.
