Bing Crosby is good and he is a very good singer. The whole movie felt like it was just trying to get to the next song. It's way too long and slow and there is hardly any plot. I'm sure this was good for the time.

A classic for a reason. Great film with lots of heart. Be prepared for the water works and a feeling of the good side of people.
