How far off was the mom with her prediction? Yeah, it's too old fashioned but the message is still needed to be told 75 years later.

I was impressed with the amount of camera movement in the first third and how much attention is paid to having the world seem lived and full of people. If this had been condensed to the last third with a sensible exposition, this would be a great movie but it was simply meandering around too much with too many kind of side plots. Also the images were extremely bland. Everything was lit so perfectly and evenly.

Tries hard to send a good message about not being prejudice. It's a little too on the nose and didn't age the best. The whole idea of someone pretending to be Jewish to get a taste also doesn't feel right. Gregory Peck is great.
