What did i just watch? It seems like I was in a crazy LSD trip.

Horrendous movie of course. So much random stuff just thrown in the screen. I’m aware I say this to pretty much every movie in this franchise, but why not once more: the plot doesn’t make any sense, it is so poorly written. Any serious aspect the franchise ever had is completely gone.

The protagonist not remembering a thing from her dad is ridiculous, oh and by the way, her dad was simply Freddy Krueger. What the hell is that loop where everyone is driving in circles while awake? So much lazy writing.

The film doesn’t take itself serious neither does its actors. The acting is horrible, there’s a scene where an actress cannot even contain her laughter during the dialogue. The guy who plays Jon in those incredible Garfield movies is in this film with a terrible haircut.
Maggie is the most meh protagonist ever, no expressions or charisma.

It also has few kills and neither of them are much remarkable. I'm actually trying right now to remember the killings and only Carlos’s death comes to my mind. That one was kind of cool at least.

Freddy’s death was ridiculous, what the hell are those little skull demons with a funny voice. So bad. Anticlimactic death, he died in every possible way in the other films and in a such more cool way. In this one it is so simple and boring.
Maggie brings Freddy to the real world by grabbing him and waking up, this is done by Nancy in the first movie. Later on in another movie, I guess someone else tries to do the same and it does not work. Now, suddenly this works and it is the key to defeat him once and for all. So lame.

A fine piece of trash.
