The ability of two good actresses to make such a weak script believable, with characters so superficial that however Glenn Close and Mila Kunis manage to provide humanity, is admirable. A film that talks about two types of dependency, that of the heroin initiated with opioids and that of a mother who is driven by the need to save her daughter. But it has moments (the school) that are ridiculously discursive.

The story is interesting. I think Mila Kunis and Glenn Close did a solid performance. Although i feel some scenes aren’t realistic timeline wise. The ending is somewhat predictable, i think it would be more stronger if it had a different ending. It lacked some depth sometimes. Overall just a fine move to watch.

It's an after school special. Great performances poor production. The bits were too close together too.
