[BFI London FF'22] The kidnapping of Aldo Moro now from an external perspective that complements the intimacy of "Buongiorno, notte" (2003), but which continues interested in the human side as opposed to politics. The story of a kidnapping told as a betrayal, Cossiga's paranoid remorse and Eleonora Moro's pain and helplessness. A film/series that demonstrates the height of a director who still has things to say.

The watershed moment of the Italian Republic, its fundamental importance for what it produced in the following years highlighted in the incipit, which is the alternative ending of the true story.
