Acceptable, Mediocre, Repetitive

Ayushmann's Doctor G is a pretty neat movie in its own right, but his chemistry with true message oriented films seems to be fading with time. The concept is interesting but the execution lacked the charm. The messaging felt preachy at times and the emotional elements didn't make much impact either. The music is below average and the screenplay is annoyiny slow which doesn't make the humor shine as it should be. The film lacked a better script which could have made it more engaging and steadfast.

For me the true star of the film is Shefali Shah, she demands respect and excels everytime she has an authoritative role at her dispense. She is brilliant. Ayushmann is Ayushmann and this film never challenged any of his acting capabilities but yes he doesn't disappoint. Ayushmann has a brilliant screen presence and that works for him all the time. Rakulpreet is average as they could have taken anyone other than her.

Overall, Doctor G is another additional to the PAN India Jagruk Janta Campaign and doesn't necessarily make a fruitful impact it was meant to. The film is extremely not disappointing but doesn't merely excite you a
nor make you inspired. A film you should wait for OTT release.
