A decent addition to the revenge thriller/folk horror genre with an engaging lead and such a great actual slow burn mystery. It's pretty complex if slightly predictable. This one doesn't have any real scares but serves a good amount of mystery that slowly unravels through subtle performances, unnerving atmosphere, and ambiguity. Its deliberate pacing and structure will occasionally test your patience, but I don't really mind so much due to the cinematography, compelling leads and quietly devastating second half. Definitely a pretty compelling concept and something I'd recommend.
A decent mystery that unravels like a good novel... though the ending could have used a little work. Despite that, full marks for originality.
