The special effects were fun in a childhood, Saturday morning matinee kind of way but the story was not meant to last an entire 2 hours and every fight scene with a monster looked exactly the same. Watch the first hour and you've seen the whole movie.

Climax fight between the giant ape and silly pink not so scary monster was the most childish thing I have ever watched...And please enough with that empress..she is one hell of an annoying character
