Demon Seed

Pretty classical theme these days, but probably one of the earlier versions of it. AI takes control of the house and the owner is trapped inside. Of course it looks a little old, but not that much. The AI, Proteus, has actually a real motivation [spoiler]because it intends to disobey human's orders, it knows it will be shut down and wants to survive by creating a child[/spoiler]. Some holes in the story, like seriously nobody tries to have a real contact with her for weeks ? Or wonders [spoiler]where the guy Proteus killed is[/spoiler] ? But the interaction (can I say relationship ?) between Susan and Proteus and its evolution are quite good. Which is nice as it is the biggest part of the movie. She's a prisoner, but it really doesn't want to hurt her, though it needs to reach its goal at all costs. The body Proteus builds is fun, its voice is just scary enough, well done. The open ending is nice too.
