Since I have seen this film I cannot stop thinking about it and I agree with the other reviews that this is a must-see film as it talks about some really relevant things.

First I need to talk about the actors, this film has some Oscar-worthy performances and I never thought I would say that about a film with this premise but Larenz Tate (Anthony Curtis) who I really wish became more famous because every time I see him in a film he steals the show and he plays this war-damaged man who is just desperate so perfectly and though the film has lots of other great performances I have to give credit to Chris Tucker (Skip) who actually gives an emotionally charged performance that makes you genuinely feel for him.

What I need to say now is do not expect an action film, this is actually a film that is technically about PTSD and also how a lot of people (especially ethnic minorities) were treated during and after the Vietnam war and it truly gives a unique perspective as there aren't that many films that revolve around black characters in the Vietnam war and that makes this film unique.

I don't wanna give too much away so all I will say is give this film a watch and just be ready for a truly unique viewing experience.
