I made it 57 minutes into this 97-minute film and just couldn't take anymore. I absolutely love a good cheesy B-movie and I always enjoy a good splatter/gore/zombie film but this...This was just over-the-top ridiculous, to the point of being completely UN-enjoyable. It wasn't the splatter, the blood, guts, or gruesome violence that killed this for me; it was just the utter stupidity. I might come back somewhere down the road and try to finish it but I seriously doubt it. This was just... It just wasn't anything but ridiculous.

**UPDATE 09/30/2024** Well I didn't think I ever would but I _did_ finally come back and finish this one. Kept seeing it on various lists and decided I needed to finish it. The second half was easier to take once I accepted it as absolute slapstick comedy instead of "horror/comedy" mix. There _was_ no "horror"; it was just all ridiculously, stupidly amusing. There's absolutely nothing to be said for the "acting" or anything else. This was nothing but an experiment in red paint, silly putty, and lots of screaming...none of it believable. If you can watch it with the mentality of it being an over-the-top gruesomely gory comedy - and NOT a "horror" movie - you can probably get through it. Would I watch this again? I seriously, SERIOUSLY doubt it. It was comedy but so utterly ridiculous that it almost rendered it un-funny.

I wonder how much that poor guy (Timothy Balme) was paid to wallow around coated in that nasty red goo for that long... Poor guy.
