The Hollywood version of the Lincoln County War, which began officially in 1878, but the kettle had been cooking for years before that. This version has all the main players including John Chisum, L.G. Murphy, Billy the Kid, Sheriff Brady, Harry Tunstall and Pat Garret with most of the minor players also involved.. One of Wayne's best, as he began introducing humor into the scripts as he neared the end of his career. There is plenty of action and some great horse stunts and yet it is clean enough for the whole family to watch. A solid 8 out of 10.

Another one of Waynes great western and one of my personal favorites. Really good humor, Wayne and Johnsons characters are like an old married couple. You like this genre, you love this one.
