Great movie, but the ending pissed me off so badly that I had to give it this unfortunate rating. [spoiler] Just because it's partly based on a true story and the real N844AA plane has never been found, it doesn't mean that the movie has to have an ending so open-ended that it seems unfinished. Why bother making up a whole backstory with Operation Chariot in an effort to explain why the passengers were on this specific Boeing 727 and just give up when it comes to the conclusion? Very disappointing. [/spoiler]

Apart from the ending, the movie itself was pretty interesting. It started off pretty slow but built up well, the characters were interesting and the acting was solid. The tension and intrigue really ramped up towards the end, but, again, ultimately lead up to a very disappointing conclusion. I would have probably rated this around a 7 or 8 [spoiler] had there been a proper ending. [/spoiler]
