[Veoasecan] Film of self-references and cinematographic references, which sometimes turns out to be too academic, too "constructed", except in the last part that once again uses cinema as a path of discovery (or re-discovery). Víctor Erice talks about himself and the frustration of the unfinished project, he reflects on the passage of time and the double nature of each one, the beginning and the end of the doubled face of Janus. It is narratively simpler than his masterpieces, but more obtuse in its way of expressing the emotional impact of cinema as a reconstruction of memory.
