Senator Walter Chalmers is aiming to take down mob boss Pete Ross with the help of testimony from the criminal's hothead brother Johnny, who is in protective custody in San Francisco under the watch of police lieutenant Frank Bullitt. When a pair of mob hitmen enter the scene, Bullitt follows their trail through a maze of complications and double-crosses. This thriller includes one of the most famous car chases ever filmed.

I heard the plot is the weakest part of the movie but I thought it was an entertaining and intriguing story.

Well...I finally watched the famous Steve McQueen _Bullitt_ film. The well-known car chase was certainly the best part of the film, and honestly the ONLY part of the movie worth watching. The rest of it was shallow and confusing and that conclusion... I'm still trying to figure out what happened. But the car chase was good. The car chase was worth watching.

Decent action movie with the famous car chase and Steve McQueens who makes a perfect low key bad a$$. It could have been a great movie had the plot been a little thicker.
