Boxer Tommy Nelson is accused of killing his manager. While detectives Bud and Lou investigate they come across an invisibility formula with which Tommy injects himself rather than face the police. This sparks an idea for trapping gangster Morgan by having Lou fight champ Rocky Hanlon, with Tommy's invisible help.

Certainly not up to A&C meet Frankenstein, but still a decent entry. The effects are fun and the jokes, though you see them coming a mile away, still are performed to perfection and will somehow get a giggle out of you just the same.

There were some great sights gags in this and that transformation special effect at the end was amazing. I divn't kna how they did it in '51.

_Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man_ in this uproarious screwball comedy. When prize fighter Tommy Nelson is framed for the murder of his manager, he turns to detectives Bud and Lou to help him and uses his uncle’s invisibility serum to hide from the cops. Abbott and Costello are in top form, delivering some great comedic skits. And the story is pretty good too, and actually ties into the original _Invisible Man_ (unlike some of the actual sequels). However, the invisibility effects are rather cheap looking; especially the final gag (which doesn’t make any sense). Yet while it has a few problems, _Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man_ is incredibly entertaining and full of laughs.

Certainly one of the best in the series.

Our intrepid bumbling duo deliver the goods in one of the better offerings on their considerable CV. Here they are freshly qualified Private Investigators thrust into a murder investigation with an invisible man. That alone should tell you that the fun flo More
