Blue Story uses slang that can be confusing for many, and despite being from the UK myself, I thought it was used a bit too excessive. I am not the biggest fan of UK grime music, but I did find myself enjoying some of the music used and thought was implemented well. The script was not anything special or unique, but the performances were fairly decent. Was not the biggest fan of the other two friends Hakeem and Dwayne. I thought they were pretty flat characters. Their was not a whole lot of depth to any of the characters.

It's a pretty predictable movie. One thing that I didn't see coming though was the way the friends split up, which was not a good thing for me. The way Marco just turned on Timmy didn't feel real to me, after all they went through and that's how it easily it was for him to turn. While the turning point for Timmy felt a little more believable, I was still not 100 percent convinced. It was a pretty sad moment however.

This movie had a few decent parts, particularly the soundtrack and acting, however it weren't without the flaws as the script was quite dull and was pretty average overall.
