You know what, I went into it know that this was really a vanity project for Michael Flately AKA Lord of the Dance who made millions in the creation of Riverdance at the turn of the millennium. Bankrolling a film where you direct, produce and star in the lead role is always going to be a personal pet project.

It’s basically a 20th century-esque special agent story, a retired special agent nicknames Blackbird has left his action packed life to run a hotel in the Caribbean, but his old life catches up with him when the most evil man:tm: who sells secret scientific capabilities to warlords check into the hotel with none other than Blackbird’s ex lover.

With plenty of cliques and boy hood idea of what a special agent entails it was actually quite a fun watch if you don’t take it too stupidly.
