Disappointing. I love music documentaries but Rick James? He never scored any top 40 hit singles or albums. I wanted to watch to find out who he was, but largely they went nowhere with this doc. I think he was only known in USA, so should have explained to the rest of the world who he was and where he came from.

First ignore the comment from Ace Face since he obviously didn't watch it. Just here to hate. Probably one of those ghost costumes in his closet. Next, I was surprised at the story of Rick James. We knew the persona. The person had a lot more depth than the persona. Shame really. As one of his friends says, change and hope come from within and it's a shame he didn't find it. There are so many broken people in the world. Here's a story of a broken person getting everything he ever wanted and still not fixing the pain. His story is insightful, well presented and reflects a lot of people today.
