There is nothing about this movie that makes it worth watching.

Kind of a slow moving movie, but intense all at the same time. If you good jaw dropping reveals. Overall, it was hard not to watch. Acting with superb. Had some very disturbing moments though. Overall, I recommend this one. Definitely worth a good watch.

The whole premise kept me really enthralled as to where it was all going to go. By the end, it got pretty dark.

I wrote about this movie (as well as the movie The Pod Generation) at the Hugo-winning, Ignyte-winning blog Nerds of a Feather: www.nerds-feather.com/2024/01/double-feature-unnatural-motherhoods.html

Pregnancy and motherhood horror with a
Frankenstein
twist. It feels so clinical, sterile, ice cold and scientifically focused that there's barely any time for emotions and the ethical side of it all is blurred by the scientific advancement aspect. It does make you question the ethics but I wanted more of that. Some good acting but the two characters are hard to connect with. They interact with each other a lot but they feel like coworkers, there's no emotions or ethical arguements which is a shame. Same goes for the patient, I never really connected or cared for them. I got a little bored in the second half. Some well-made uncomfortable operating scenes, needles, blood... all the good stuff. Yuck! Good ending but i'm left unsatisfied overall.
