'#34;And you don'#39;t know the odds. Could be one in a trillion. It could be one in two. Anyway, this is about regret. And those odds are always 100%.'#34; '#34;Why is it that any one decision always seems too small to be the biggest decision of your life? I don'#39;t know. But sometimes you have to just make the choice and jump.'#34; It'#39;s not a masterpiece, but it has some moments that make you think about life, love and second chances. It'#39;s a good movie to watch, it doesn'#39;t bored you at all.
If you like Before Sunrise, check this out. Super cute.
Two strangers, on the streets of New York, one night, trying to decide how to face what just might be the biggest decisions of their lives. Great performance by the two leads, believable tension, choices worth thinking about, no easy answers. I gave this an 8 (great) out of 10.
Two beautiful but boring people meet one night and become romantically entangled in this meandering, pretentious drama.
This movie is not that great, and Alice Eve's American accent is terrible. Even so, something about it just _gets_ to me... I should probably watch Before Sunrise.
It is interesting that Evans chose this script for his directorial debut because this idea has been done before (and quite frankly, much better in Before Sunrise). He even admitted in subsequent interviews that the script was pretty mediocre. Evans presence makes the movie watchable (barely above Hallmark Channel quality) and it actually has a decent ending. Alice Eve reminds me a lot of January Jones - she is fairly bland and could never carry this kind of film on her own. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
It's the one night tale of a chance encounter that explores concepts of love and the reality of each and every decision we make as well as their consequences. A good, easy to watch, nicely paced film. To be watched with some wine and an open mind!
A story written like no other. Of an encounter for the better of both yet open to possibilities. A romantic film full of realism and obstacles.
A total waste of time AVOID IT
Two losers meet in N.Y and spent walk through night… ;'gt; ps. but 6 years? Come on... :D
Wasn'#39;t amazing or some sort of masterpiece, but for some reason it struck a chord in me. Not a bad watch tbh, and it doesn'#39;t really bore you.
the film is not super interesting, but i dont know why i keep coming back for it. it doesn'#39;t depict love as love really is but you can see the authenticity of their love. not a solid 9/10 for me, but anyway it'#39;s a 9/10. p/s: lot will not agree, but this film is over '#34;before'#34; trilogy (maybe not the first one)
“Have you ever had a feeling that somebody was going to play a major part in your life?”
A nice take to a simple thing that happens in our everyday life, making sure we live every moment we have
wondering what note that Nick write on the back of “rate your stay” card from the hotel..

Excellent Film! Delicious Chris Evans offers us yummy acting and tasty directing in this feature about two people learning about the realities of love and friendship (and money)! Chris Evans' character Nick is down-to-Earth; witty; whimsical; and caring and it all seemed to unfold naturally for Mr. Evans. Beautiful Alice Eve's performance was wonderful! Her character Brooke was genuine, complex, easy for many to relate to, and lovable. Both Chris Evans and Alice Eve were perfectly matched, for both their characters and one another. I was shocked when I learned, at the end, that Chris Evans directed the whole thing. Cheers to Chris! I like the focus on the characters' faces; I liked the mood that was maintained throughout the film; and I like the light-hearted approach to two complex characters faced with the complexities of love, emotions, friendship, and money. The film kept my attention until the end. I am waiting for Chris Evans to direct again. I am waiting for Before We Go 2, hoping that Nick and Brooke find one another and again find true friendship, true love.

> One night adventure with a stranger! In his 15 year old acting career it was the Chris Evan's first direction. Many actors had tried that and only a few had succeeded, but some of them just preferred a low cost, simple project to avoid a major disaster. He also produced it and acted alongside the British actress Alice Eve. The film was a one night event based theme which begins when a young woman misses her train, and later forced to spend the night with a stranger after her purse got stolen. During lots of time left for the next train, theirs little adventure begins as they embark around the city. This is really a solid film. Well written screenplay and performed with a beautiful night adventure in the city that never sleeps. The problem with me was, I had seen many similar flicks, so this one looked okay, in a good way, but not that awesome. Still a fine film and definitely highly recommend others who like drama-romance. The plus point was the actors, the chemistry was brilliant. The story was very good, yet like I said it was so simple. It was not just two who meet and develop a friendship or a relationship, but they both reveal their story behind their visit to the city. At first it was a casual disclose, but the true reason comes out when they begin to trust each other and feel comfortable. So each of their tale has a small twist in the same night to overcome that was troubling them for some time. The film makes the impression that they two are made for each other, but only the final scene reveals how their destiny ends when the dawn breaks out. Not so clever, but an enjoyable little gem, maybe a perfect film for the date night. 6.5/10
