Rumored to have been lost, Antrum appears as a cursed film from the 1970s. Viewers are warned to proceed with caution. It’s said to be a story about a young boy and girl who enter the forest in an attempt to save the soul of their recently deceased pet. They journey to “The Antrum,” the very spot the devil landed after being cast out of heaven. There, the children begin to dig a hole to hell.

Antrum is a mostly-watchable thriller wrapped up in a lazily done meta-narrative that should have been much better.

Ummm.... boring. Add to that, that it's just a bad movie to begin with. There's no horror, no thrills, no excitement, no scares, no point. Just don't bother. How I rate: 1-3 :heart: = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too 9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!

I consider this the true heir of Blair Witch Project. Not excellent, but definitely immersive. The kid was very good!

Like mail-away drugs, this is just what the doctor ordered. As a huge fan of mockumentary / found footage horror, this pressed all the right buttons for me at the outset. While I wish they would've leaned more into the 'curse' aspect of the lore, the brilliantly recreated 70s film about two siblings out to save their dead dog's soul was a joy to watch.

So, _Antrum_ is a found-footage horror movie. Think _The Blair Witch Project_, only Satanic.

The movie that kills

This mockumentary was an interesting ride. The build up to the movie plays on the viewer's mind for something to be surreal and satanic.
