Amalia's ex lover/husband kills himself. At first there are suspicions on Tania who semmed to have been the guy's current lover. She seems weird and could be involved in some kind of black magic. So naturally, Amalia starts... dating her. This first intrigue is rapidly forgotten as we follow Amalia and realize she's the one who is totally crazy. She has visions of some weird alien like monster who talks to her. The static on the radio also talks to her. At some poit there's a kind of big breathing mushroom that later takes a kind of humanoid form and [spoiler]Amalia sacrifices people to it, including her brother and her father[/spoiler].

It usually goes like this: she's in her car listening to conspiracy theories (some are pretty good by the way), then she has a conversation with the static noise, then visions of the alien thing, then she waskes up in the middle of a party. She's often drunk it seems. This happens several times. The story ever really progresses, you can only see that she's more and more crazy, or at least you realize the extent of it.

Nothing makes much sense, actions are deliberately confusing. It feels like there was an idea in the beginning, but then they just went let's do whatever and the result is disappointing.

This is a black and white movie, but not the classy clean black and white. It does not look like a b&w film was used but more like a dirty grey filter was put in front of the camera. This gives a certain style but it's not that pleasing to watch.
