It was a chance meeting started by one of Sol’s friends trying to chat up Jennifer. However, in the end, it was those two who hit it off. Sol enjoyed Jen’s smile, her effort, and how silly she could be. Jen enjoyed Sol’s cooking, his athleticism, and that he would join her in fun moments. As you can imagine, love bloomed, and things got serious. Jen’s investment in Sol led to her pushing him to follow his dreams and even move in to save money. Sol’s investment in Jen well, it led to him proposing. But what started as a liver tumor grew into full-on cancer, so with a diagnosis of 6 months to live, Sol and Jennifer try to make the best of it.

Even though is a good movie i couldnt connect with the characters and i felt that their behaviour through the movie was weird after everything was happening.Good perfomances though and great chemistry between Jessica and Harry.Not great but watchable 6.4/10

it was a beautiful story, but I felt like the main couple had no chemistry. they looked great together but the illusion of that once in a lifetime kind of love kept breaking because they just didn't sound too drawn to eachother. other than that it was a nice movie and a touching real life story behind it.

there was something missing .. im not sure exactly what is it but i think it lacked a bit of emotions ... despite being an emotional sad movie i didn't cry even once !!!! (and im a cry baby when it comes to this genre) so overall, i will say it was just fine. realistic, fun at some points, had a good rhythm, and a good message within it .. that's it but still not recommend it strongly.

Movies like this tend be schmaltzy and corny, but I felt this film was able to eclipse that bar through both the performances and the dialogue. Jessica Rothe was terrific as a young woman struggling in the face of unimaginable adversity showing a tremendous range of emotion in the role. Harry Shum More
