_A Wish for Christmas_ is a fun, lighthearted holiday film from Hallmark. When Sara Shaw receives a certificate for one wish at her company’s Christmas party, she wishes to be braver and it magical comes true; leading her boss to choose her to accompany him to give a presentation to a client that could make or break their company. Lacey Chabert and Paul Greene lead the cast and have good chemistry together. However, the writing’s a little weak; as it's full of clichés and it's actually Sara’s magical skills of persuasion (not bravery) that allow her to overcome all of the obstacles that she faces. Yet most of the characters are likable, and there are some fun comedic moments as well as some touching dramatic ones. It has its weaknesses, but overall _A Wish for Christmas_ is an enjoyable family film.
