Overview

In an attempt to move on from the death of Paul, the love of her life, Korine leaves Paris to undertake a project in Mongolia. But after meeting the shaman, Oyun, her trip takes a different direction. Korine has a rare gift that Oyun intends to unveil. She agrees to initiate herself in the practice of Shamanism, leading her to discover an ancient and forgotten culture, but most importantly herself.

Combining _Ghost_ with _Eat, Pray, Love_ is a shitty idea, so thank God _A Bigger World_ doesn'#39;t do that. I'#39;m certainly the least spiritual person you'#39;ve ever met, yet _Un Monde Plus Grand_ (the true story of a sound engineer grieving over her dead husband who discovers she has shamanistic powers while traveling through Mongolia) succeeded in touching me. No doubt my feelings for this film were heavily influenced by the strong performance of Cécile de France, whose impeccable portrayal here cast a spell on me.
