Still thinking about this movie weeks after watching... 21 Grams is like a fable in its archetypal exploration of guilt, grief, and desire. The performances are raw, intense, gut-wrenching. Definitely not an easy watch, but likely a worthwhile one.

An extraordinary drama with outstanding performances particularly by Penn, Watts and del Toro. The storytelling of the movie is also extraordinary in the way that the story is told in snippets of different storylines that completely and randomly out of time. And surprisingly, this storytelling works extraordinarily well for the movie. One of the best movies I have seen lately.

21 grams the movie was such a beautifully constructed story.
It had the rawest of emotions that are intense.
Some may find the content a bit heavy but I thought it was pure craft.
The way the story unfolds into each other is fabulous.

It’s a film about the basics of human nature.
