_SOTUS_ is a show for in-between when you're out of options and while it taunts with a well written plot summary it suffers from a terrible execution.
I personally don't mind but I am sure a lot of people will dislike the slow pace in episodes 1-5 and a general lack of direction.

BL(what I came for): You don't really get to feel the BL here, it's more like a story about immature seniors and one of their leaders bullying a mature-ish young freshman and his new friends and classmates — what should merely be one of many elements in the story line quickly becomes its main selling point.

I still harbor hope and would like to see things get moving in the second half of the season.

I have never been so attached to a drama series. Thank you #Thailand and #GMMTV for being so bold in interpreting this genre. This will kickstart me in BL dramas. Gonna miss Arhit and Kong's cute moments. Sad :-(

Popular Thai teen drama/romance.

Season 1: I really enjoyed the show and it definitely had a strong pull to keep you invested and wanting to binge. Only criticism is that we didn't get enough happy couple moments after they got together. They introduced a new conflict and source of miscommunication that [spoiler] did not get resolved until late in the last episode [/spoiler] and seemed like recycled/remixed drama from mid-season.


Season 2 (also titled: Sotus S: The Series): Felt lackluster compared to season 1. [spoiler]
It fell into the trope of breaking up the couple in season 2 to feed conflict and miscommunication which stretched for 90% of the season. [/spoiler] The sideplots were subpar/lacking and nothing felt interesting in any university plots but did enjoy storyline at Arthit's workplace.

I give it 9 out of 10 because the first season get 10 thousand stars from me. The second season been a bit slower and sometimes more frustrating.
All and all, I enjoyed it so very much. I will miss Kong and Art.
