Brilliantly written to evoke all the feelings of an 80s hospital drama. I can't help but feel as though St. Elsewhere was the frame for this. It's clever in very subtle ways with broad laugh out loud laughs. A shining achievement of television.

With the steep decline in the quality of TV and literacy in the world, Garth Marenghi is the one light in the darkness that brings the quality back making it a cultural masterpiece. Marenghi shows us how it's done with this gripping, thrilling, and yet tender story of a hospital where, at one time,
an eyeball monster assfucked a patient who then gave birth to another eyeball monster child who was adopted by the lead, Dr Dagless
. Stellar writing and performances assure that with this piece of art, Marenghi has changed the world

This show ended about a hundred episodes too soon. Hilariously funny parody show from hilariously funny actors.

A great and loving deconstruction of B movies and the often cluelessly egotistic people behind them.

It balances a careful tightrope of being an absurd parody of the technical mistakes a cancelled 80s TV show would make and also just being a sitcom which is entertaining to sit through. Sometimes there's a bit of dissonance when the dialogue is just funny rather than imitating so-bad-it's-good comedy, but it's pretty impressive they manage to fit both of those things into a show anyway. Overall it displays Ayoade's expert knowledge of filmmaking, and specifically, "what not to do unless you can do it in a way that's pretty funny".

I usually like Matt Barry and Richard Ayoade, but I can’t get into this show.

Hilarious in its own weird way, you'll appreciate it more if you're familiar with Richard Ayoade and Matt Berry's brand of humour.

Sorry, this isn't even in the category of "so bad it's good". I realise that it's trying to be bad and poke fun at 80s British TV shows but all it succeeds at doing is being bad. None of the jokes are funny and I couldn't wait for the first episode to finish.
