it was a fantastic film. A little bit like Melancholia in some ways. I would love to have seen an alternative ending whereby when Curtis opens the Shelter doors. All you see is destruction proving he is not mad. THE END.. I just think the build up to him opening the doors would have been more satisfying. I have great respect for Michael Shannon, he was fantastic in Revolutionary road. I have also been following the career of Jessica Chastain since Jolene...and i can see a few oscars for these two in the future.

I started it on Netflix because I didn't know what to watch and... I'm surprised. This film is fantastic. I am speechless.

I do love slow-paced thriller films and this is exactly that. Having said that, there is something that makes me uneasy about the ending. It is up to so many interpretations that the writer / director of the film didn’t know himself how to end otherwise a close-to-brilliant story with a decent act More

Let's get the easy stuff out of the way. This is an interesting story about a man's struggle with his family's past and his current family's future. The film is engrossing, the acting is superb and the direction is impressive.
